About the author-
Dr. Sanjay Singh chauhan was borned in Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh (up) in a family of farmer. After his primary education in home district, He had done his graduation ( BAMS) from Faculty of Ayurveda, Banaras Hindu university in year 2011. After this he got selected in all india postgraduation entrance test and completed his post graduation [MS (Ay)] in Department of Shalya tantra, faculty of Ayurveda IMS, BHU in year 2015.

Shalya Tantra is most evident branch of astang ayurveda written by Acharya Sushruta, which aims at diagnosis, and management of various surgical disorders. The condition Parikartika (Fissure-in-Ano) has not been described as an independent disease, .In Ancient text Parikartika is found in as Vamana-Virechana vyapad, Bastikarma vyapad, Atisara, Grahani, Arsha, and Udavarta etc. this book will help to understand parikartika as it is described in ancient book and also its management.
